We do have some set prices for specific CMS websites such as the 4 page one on the left which is based on a very attractive template. Changing template layouts is a straghtforward task so if you require something a little more unique we are always happy to oblige.

What is CMS?

Content Management provides the website owner with a facility for changing the content of his/her website. The changes you make are instantly reflected on the website. The phrase "Content Management System" is abbreviated to CMS.

Content Management Process

You can see from the diagram on the right that the information your website displays is kept in a database. The site owner can change the contents of that database whilst everyone viewing the site simply sees what is in the database.

Is All Content Management the Same?

No. Some content management packages are "off-the-shelf" and re-sold by website developers, others are bespoke and written specifically to the client requirement. Ours are bespoke.

Off-the-shelf packages can cause confusing administration areas for the website owner because (as with most kinds of software) try to be 'all things to all men' and are difficult to simplify or change at the users request.

Ours are written specifically to your requirements, so you get exactly what you need without any extraneous menus/options/pages etc.

I can already hear you shouting "That sounds expensive!", but the surprising thing is that it really isn't. A bespoke content management system can usually be written faster than it takes to configure the five million options* in an off-the-shelf package. Hence bespoke is tailored, faster, and less expensive. Usually!
