Web Design Sheffield appears to be the top search term for people looking for a Web Design company in Sheffield. You might not think that's unusual (and according to the search statistics it isn't!), but it highlights the vagaries and confusions that can arise from trying to identify the search terms people will use to find your business,
You might think that "Web Designers in Sheffield" is a more natural search term than "Web Design Sheffield", but last month, 2,900 searches were made for "Web Design Sheffield" and only 73 searches were made for the more natural "Web Designers in Sheffield".
This highlights the importance of making sure your keyword research is thorough. If you're optimising for phrases which are only being used occassionally, then it stands to reason that you're not going to get much traffic from them.
Having listened to a lot of clap-trap about Search Engine Optimisation, and having done successful projects in the past, it's time to launch a complete SEO package!
Check out our new article What To Avoid With SEO which will hopefully save you some money!
Emma is a Marketing graduate who joins us to help out not only with the day to day development of websites, but to help us deliver a structured approach to Search Engine Optimisation (announcement on this shortly).
We're looking for someone with some exposure to x/html and css and maybe even some server side scripting and/or MySql experience who wants to grow into a full Web Developer role, and perhaps even further as the company continues to grow.
Type Web Designers in Sheffield into Google and you'll see us at the top of the listings.
All web developers who look after the hosting of the websites they have developed (like us) often deal with requests for domain transfers, so they have domain names coming in and out of their control. Obviously it's better to have more domains coming in than going out, and because of the record number of domains being transferred in to us at the moment we seem to have become experts in domain transfers!
Three online shops to launch this week with a cumulative total of almost 12,000 products going online.
If there's one business sector which is more difficult to optimise than web design, it's probably the property rental market. There are some big guys with big budgets at the top, and since Google has this fixation with link popularity they are mostly directory sites, so it's not going to be easy.
This has not been easy. No really. It has taken a very, very long time because we've been seriously busy for at least the last 18 months, and as you'll notice if you fish around it still isn't finished even now.
We have made a big investment in some new equipment which allows us to handle much bigger jobs. I should get Haydn to write this because apart from folding paper I haven't got a clue what it all does. All I know is that we all nearly broke our backs getting it into the units, and one of them has it's own generator?!?!
After weeks of anticipation, the Web Obfuscator has finally been installed. Until you fully understand what it does, it can be very confusing. The obfuscator is VERY busy 24 hours a day, but it's no good just asking a few quick questions about what it does, the Obfuscator is a prime example of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing. | NEWS | DOMAINS | |
